National Tree Week will run from March 5th to March 12th this year. To celebrate there will be a tree celebration in Lough Gur on March 5th from 1pm to 4pm.
Tree expert Albert Nolan will visit to lead an exploratory walk and workshop based around the importance and magic of trees. With over 7,200 species of trees in Ireland just 22 are native Irish and we have all 22 native Irish trees in Lough Gur!
