Summer all the Time
We know it is possible to grow plants and trees under artificial light.
But what impact does that have on the flora and fauna around us?
There are cases of deciduous trees retaining their leaves and blooms under city lights in the height of winter. It would require further analysis to understand the long term impact on plants, and the ground in which they grow, arising from this extended cycle of blooming and growth. For many species as much as the changing path of the sun and moon indicates, trees and plant give a much more discernible indicator of seasonal change. If the natural cycle of trees were to change we do not fully understand the impact on the wildlife which relies on such trees for shelter and food. And more significantly as a visual queue for seasonal activity.
