Exciting hands-on workshops, exploring the engineering used in space missions, for second level students during Engineers Week 2016. The workshops will include designing, building and refining a spacecraft/landing system based on the current European Space Agency mission to Mars, ExoMars. Students will be guided through hands-on engineering concepts and put them into practice, using a mixture of skills including creativity, problem solving, teamwork and experimentation, all of which are key to engineering careers. The visit will also include a live video chat and Q&A with international space professionals.
