Limerick Sings 2018 Festival:
The Limerick Sings 2018 Festival will take place from the 7th – 10th of June 2018 and features choirs of all traditions and nationalities who have come together for a weekend of non-competitive singing in spectacular venues around Limerick City & County.
Opening Concert Thursday 7th June
- Arrive at UL campus accommodation
- Irish Welcome Night
- Opening Concert in the University Concert Hall
Evening Concert in Redemptorist Church, Limerick Friday 8th June
- Visit the magical Lough Gur and join in our “Big Sing” Event
- Evening Concert in Redemptorist Church, Limerick
- Post-concert Festival Club at Dolan’s Limerick
Evening Concert Saturday 9th June
- Experience the lively atmosphere of Limerick City and join in our Choral Trail
- Participate in our Come Sing choral workshop
- Take a walking tour of Limerick City with optional visits to the Hunt Museum and King John’s Castle (arranged on request)
- Take a half day or full day tour to local areas of interest (arranged on request)
- Pre-concert dinner in the Pavilion or Stables Club on Campus (arranged on request)
- Evening Concert with Perform International at University Concert Hall
Afternoon Concert in Adare, Limerick Sunday 10th June
- Free time to explore the Region
- Lunch options available on request
- Afternoon Concert in Holy Trinity Abbey Church, Adare
- Farewell Reception and Sing Song to close the Festival
Monday 11th June
- Optional tours (available on request)
- Choirs depart
