Sponsor a custom fairy door with your child’s name.

Lough Gur will establish this new fairy constellation in the trees behind the brand-new Solstice playground allowing the fairies to oversee all the children visiting with us. A new group of Solstice Fairies will be moving to the area in August 2020 and have requested new homes. To sponsor these fairies, families can purchase a Fairy Door with a child’s name on it – the fairy with the same name as the child will then live there!

Sponsorship package costs €50 – limited numbers available. Purchase before 31st July and you will receive 12-month membership to Lough Gur Heritage Centre and be in with a chance to win one of three prizes. 1st prize fairy hamper, 2nd prize fairy door, 3rd prize soft toy sheep.

This sponsorship package will include a customised fairy door, a solstice activity sheet, and a unique certificate entailing a watercolour image of the sponsored fairy near their brand new customised front door.

The child can take the certificate home with them to remind them of the home that ‘their’ fairy lives in at Lough Gur.
