Lough Gur Solstice Park playground will open on July 19th from 10am to 6pm each day!. This new lake view playground is located by the hillside Heritage Centre to offer you and your family much needed facilities while you enjoy your stay in the great outdoors. We look forward to welcoming everyone from Sunday 18th of July! We look forward to opening this playground and will arrange an official ribbon cutting ceremony and sun dial sculpture unveiling later this year! It is important to open this playground and allow the area time to settle before holding this fiesta!
Visitors are asked to take personal responsibility. If you see that the playground is busy please return at a later time. Bring hand sanitiser and wipes if you are concerned about hygiene. As with all other playgrounds, the Solstice Park playground will not be policed. We ask that you use your own personal judgement when visiting.
If you would like to help Lough Gur Development, as a not-for-profit voluntary community organisation, to cover costs associated with completing this project we would welcome your support by either submitting a donation online or by sponsoring a fairy door.
